There are not many places that are dedicated to learning and understanding yourself and how truly unique your experiences are. I believe therapy is one of those places. If you are looking for a space like that, I want to provide it for you. I offer a supportive environment for you to share your story and begin your journey of self-examination and self-understanding.
I pull from a mix of different therapeutic approaches based on your specific needs and aspirations. I work with my clients to decide together which approach fits best for you. Utilizing my lived experiences and philosophical background, I provide support with approaches like narrative-based, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural theories, and solution-focused therapies. I work with affirming identities in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC communities, those who are underprivileged in society, and those who want to share their story with someone.
As a Queer, gay, South Asian man, I know first hand how difficult it can be to find safety in mental health care and to trust that there are safe and understanding places to share your story. I strive to create a space of safety and trust where everyone is welcome to share openly and express themselves authentically. If you choose to work with me, we will collaboratively search for and work toward your goals in a space free from judgement, shame, guilt, or negativity. I am here to support you in being your most authentic self.
I believe in the power of self-exploration, working to accept whatever truth we are living and working within those truths to find comfort and fulfilment, while also building the foundations for meaningful change according to living your authentic life. I am happy to explore the possibilities with anyone who believes this might be a fit for them.
