(She/her) MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
For many, young adulthood and adolescence are fundamental years associated with self-exploration, identity formation, increased independence and investment in relationships and the future. These years can be vibrant, exciting, full of possibility AND at the exact same time can be uniquely challenging. More often than not, life will throw us an unexpected curve ball - sometimes several all at once. I work with individuals navigating these ages and stages, including all that comes with it.
We will work together to develop the skills that you need to better understand and manage difficult thoughts and emotions in order to make meaningful change in the areas that are most important to you. The relationships that I have been fortunate to form in therapeutic settings are ones that I value and hold in high-esteem. My practice emphasizes validation, authenticity and curiosity, along with a little bit of laughter.
As a social worker, I have received additional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Motivational Interviewing. We will work together in order to determine what treatment model or blend is the best fit for you.
